So, you want to know about Foxed.ca?

Foxed.ca is an independent non-profit group dedicated to providing free hosting and other services. Very much a communist state, Foxed.ca believes in providing its services equally to everyone.

Foxed.ca is located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Originating from an old HP Pavilion, set up to slowly collect the internet, it evolved into a dedicated nFusion multiplayer server. From this is did not take long until the owner installed an FTP server and used it as a file briefcase for sharing with friends and family. A short while later, a copy of Apache was loaded and an IP based webhost was born.
Now Foxed.ca consists of a network of machines, each with their own purpose. There is a dedicated DNS server to host the domain. Another machine handles the muliplayer aspect and yet another serves the files.
