CHARCOAL CANISTER INSPECTION

1. Remove the charcoal canister. (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2. Plug the charcoal canister atmosphere side and purge solenoid valve side.

3. Inspect for air leakage when blowing air using your mouth from the fuel tank side.

• If air leaks, replace the charcoal canister.

4. Install the charcoal canister to the bracket. (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5. Verify that there is no play between the charcoal canister and bracket.

• If there is play between the charcoal canister and bracket, replace the charcoal canister.
