ECCENTRIC SHAFT POSITION PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the drive belt referring to the drive belt replacement. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT.)

Caution

• To allow the PCM to identify that the eccentric shaft position plate has been replaced, pump the brake pedal 20 times within 8 s after the ignition switch is turned to the ON position (engine off).

2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
